Jennifer was born on October 25th, with dreams in her soul and songs in her heart. She began to express her unique talents at the young age of four. Being of Latin descent, Jennifer has enjoyed exploring and expanding her repertoire by recording sensational work in the Spanish language. Although she has had considerable professional vocal training, she says, "My overall training has been greatly inspired by listening to established artists, such as Patti Labelle, Chaka Kahn, Aretha Franklin, and Celia Cruz, among others." These solid influences combined with her own natural, sultry talent, has resulted in the creation of Jennifer Carbonell's current and distinctly unforgettable style.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has done backup vocals for the well-known reggae ambassadors, The Inner Circle, and appeared on their last album, "Barefoot in Nigeria". She has worked with rap and bass artist DJ Laz, from South Florida's WPOW 96.5FM. Jennifer made a profound impression in a collaboration she made with the former EMI recording artist.

Tito Puente Jr., son of the legendary "

mambo King" Tito Puente, in which she appears in both his first and second albums. It wasn't long before the extraordinary opportunity became available for Jennifer to do background vocals and work with legendary producer Dallas Austin, who has produced such renowned artists as Madonna, TLC, and Pink.

Currently, she continues to expand her career as a solo artist. Working with producer, singer, and songwriter, Gil Martin, Jennifer delivers a heart-rocking performance of Martin's dance jams, "I Do" and "I Don't Need Your Love", and soothes us with the emotionally charged ballad, "No Stars to Wish For", a duet with Gil Martin.

Her talents as a singer and songwriter have allowed her to establish substantial ties with the producer Nick Martinelli, who helped her put together her first demo. Martinelli has also produced such singing sensations as Diana Ross, Phyllis Hyman, Regina Belle, Teddy Pendergrass, and Ru Paul. Both Jennifer and Nick Martinelli have worked together combining their styles to create a dance demo that has a deep and soulful, pop flavor. This demo truly shines a spotlight on Jennifer's natural ability as a sensational singer, songwriter and arranger.

An appearance on VH1 in 2003 placed her among the Top Five performers to win the Divas Live Competition, "Born to Diva", followed by an inspiring interview with Gloria Estefan. Jennifer is currently presenting her demo to several recording labels throughout the music industry and plans for a music video to be shot with Gil Martin at an undisclosed nightclub in Miami's sizzling South Beach!

Jennifer Carbonell sparkles with glamour, sex appeal and charm.
